Facelift
Types of Facelifts and the Areas They Address
Mini, full, neck, and forehead lift terminology describes different areas of concern—not interchangeable versions of one operation.

The guide
Three points to consider.
The ICRS facelift material distinguishes a mini facelift for selected lower-face aging, a full facelift for broader facial and upper-neck change, a neck lift for tissue beneath the chin and along the neck, and a forehead lift for the brow area.
Facelift planning may address excess skin, deeper support, the jawline, cheek area, and selected neck concerns. Eyelid surgery, forehead lift, or skin resurfacing may be discussed separately when those areas contribute to the concern.
The appropriate scope depends on facial anatomy, health history, previous procedures, medications, goals, and the amount of change that is realistic. A named technique should follow that evaluation rather than lead it.
