Tummy Tuck
The Tummy Tuck Journey
From consultation through follow-up, abdominoplasty requires health review, a defined contour goal, home support, and procedure-specific recovery instructions.

The guide
Three points to consider.
The journey begins with examination of the abdomen and a discussion of pregnancy, weight change, prior surgery, skin, localized fat, muscle support, health history, nicotine exposure, medications, and expectations.
If surgery is planned, the office will confirm testing, medicine changes, eating and drinking instructions, arrival time, transportation, overnight support, garments, incision care, activity, and follow-up. These details must be individualized.
Recovery commonly includes swelling, soreness, limited activity, and a gradual return to routine. The clinical team—not a general timeline—determines when work, lifting, exercise, driving, and other activities are appropriate.
